Kedai Makanan & Minuman Tri-Senses

Haha! Because of the review in the newspaper, I was tempted to this Kedai Makanan and Minuman Tri-Senses to try the pumpkin bubur chacha.

The restaurant is located in Taman Permas Indah, Johor Bahru.

The interior is colourful but looks like a kiddy classroom or pediatric clinic. Weird!

The lotus leaf glutinous rice was disappointing.

The pumpkin bubur chacha was OK, not overly sweet but not really fantastic.

Ji Wo Bao

Do you know what is this? This is called Ji Wo Bao（鸡窝包）.Steamed beehive-shaped bun with a delicious filling of glutinous rice, mushroom, veggies and chicken.It is a hybrid of lor mai kai（糯米鸡）and big bao（大包）. A new and creative bun of Malaysian innovation. What does it tastes like? Well, it is like eating lor mai kai and big bao at the same time.
