My sister's wedding banquet was held in Lido Restaurant. Ipoh used to have 2 cinemas with the name Lido and Cathay next to each other in new town area. Both cinemas have closed down. Lido has been converted into a Chinese restaurant, Cathay has been converted into a Pasaraya (department store).
