New year is the time to meet up with old friends, many of whom return from afar. What do men do when they meet up? They either eat, drink, gamble or go sauna or massage. This is the usual stuff when we meet up every year. This year is no different. Kai Fong called me and Kok Mun to go massage as usual in the afternoon today. Haha! Kai Fong's wife who always seem to worry about what her husband would do going out with one unmarried man and another half married man. Little does she knows that contrary to what she has always been thinking, her husband has always been the bad influence to both Kok Mun and I.
After massage, we met up with Boon Yeong in Woolley Food City. My! This place is now selling Vietnamese, Japanese, etc. What happened to Ipoh food? Boon Yeong suggested the famous Ipoh curry mee. We ordered but found nothing exciting about the noodle. Even Old Town White Coffee has better curry mee. The satay was equally disappointing. Alas! Is it because it is new year time?
