A blog for me to write about what I put into my bottomless pit and what I do in my spare time.

Chikuyo Vegetarian Restaurant @ Mutiara Damansara
After having pancake dessert, we decided to have some vegetarian food. There is one Chinese vegetarian restaurant called Chikuyo at the far end of second floor of The Curve. At my age, you really have to eat healthy. Singapore government advises that we should eat 2 types of vegetable and 2 type of fruits each day.
The interior of the restaurant is overly simple compared to other restaurants in The Curve. Somehow, I have this feeling the interior design of Chinese restaurants are either horribly casual like a kopitiam or horribly extravagant like a palace.
The design of the fernleaf hedge bamboo bonsai looks interesting though.
Roast Goose, of course mock roast goose. Crispy but oily. Not very healthy actually.
Stir fried cauliflower. Cauliflower was not in the menu but when I asked for it, they said they do have cauliflower. I wanted it to be stir fried with belacan for a change. The dish tasted like curry asam pedas though.
I ordered the above because the Chinese name implied that there are 6 types of mushrooms. I was surprised when it turned up with only 3 types of mushrooms. Black fungus is not a type of mushroom!
I was not impressed with the restaurant definitely.
