Restoran Woo Lan

It was Sunday 2 weeks ago, Azam and I decided to go to Restoran Woo Lan again. This time we made sure that we reach there before 2pm.

Brickfields is not only known as Little India of Kuala Lumpur, it is also the area where you can find a lot of disabled people. A lot handicapped association and training centres are located in this area. You can also find a lot of blind man massage parlour here as well.

On top of that, because of its proximity to the city terminal of KLIA Ekspress in Sentral, there are a lot of backpackers hotels in this area too.

We finally reached Restoran Woo Lan at 2pm.

Woo Lan in Chinese means "Orchid in a Water Vessels", which is quite a nice name.

The interior is simple. Plastic tables and plastic chair. Guess, Chinese decor are extremely functionalism.

We ordered a pot of curry prawn and squid. The curry was cooked without coconut milk. Probably using evaporated milk as substitute I guess. It was wonderful. The prawn and the squid were crunchy and fresh. I took the picture too late. The prawn and squid were in our stomach already.

Romaine lettuce stir friend with fermented Doufu.

Recently, I like to eat cauliflower stir fried with garlic. Cauliflower is a very nice vegetable. Crunchy and chewy but not fibrous.

Lastly, we ordered this dish my father used to called Telur Tiga Bangsa. It is steamed eggs (with ordinary eggs, salted eggs and century eggs).
