Bumbu Desa @ The Curve

Bumbu desa is a newly opened (barely two months) Indonesian restaurant in The Curve.

Karedok is like Gado Gado, except that the vegetable are raw in Karedok while the vegetable in Gado Gado are boiled.

Deep fried Tilapia seems to be a popular way of eating fish in Indonesia.

I was curiously about the red bean drink listed on the menu. I thought it is going to be shaved red been ice like the one served in Pappa Rich. It turns out to be red bean in Cinnamon syrup. Reminds me of my trip to Kerinchi Sumatra. I was given two bottles of Cinnamon syrup by the orang besar there.

Air Jeruk. Jeruk is orange in Bahasa Indonesia.
